Options explained
Gauges
From 12 to .410: the smaller the gauge, the lighter and slimmer the gun. Sidelocks and the 40N are built in all five.
Ribs
The rib joins the barrels and guides the eye. Choose flat, concave or trapezoidal; the Jabalí boar guns use a flat rib with rear sight and front bead.
Forends
The English (splinter) forend is slim and traditional; the semi-beavertail and beavertail give the front hand more to hold and keep it off hot barrels.
Triggers
Double triggers, with a hinged front trigger on the sidelocks, give an instant choice of barrel. A single trigger is available to order.
Stock dimensions
Standard stocks are made to drop at comb 38 mm (1½″), drop at heel 63 mm (2½″) and length of pull 365 mm (14⅜″). Stocks can be made to your measurements, with straight (English) or full pistol grip, and a rubber recoil pad if wanted.
Proof
Every gun is proofed at the Banco Oficial de Pruebas in Eibar, Spain’s official proof house, under C.I.P. rules recognized across C.I.P. member states.
