Who is responsible

What we collect

When you email or call us, we receive the details you choose to give us: typically your name, company, contact details and the content of your message.

The quote request on this website does not send anything to us: it opens your own email program with your answers filled in, and you decide whether to send it. This website has no accounts and no forms that store data.

Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical data (such as IP address and browser) to deliver and protect the site; this is kept only briefly.

Why, and on what legal basis

To answer your inquiry and prepare quotes at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

To manage our relationship with customers, dealers and distributors, and to meet our legal obligations, including those that apply to firearms and taxation (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).

To keep the website secure (our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

How long we keep it

For as long as needed to deal with your inquiry and, for customers, for the duration of the relationship and the periods required by law.

Who sees it

We do not sell your data. It is processed by the service providers we rely on (such as email and hosting) under data-processing agreements, and disclosed to authorities only where the law requires. If a provider is located outside the European Economic Area, transfers rely on an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, rectification or erasure of your data, object to or restrict its processing, and request portability, by writing to ugartechea@ugartecheashotguns.com. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
