The Model C is a hammer double rifle on sidelocks: the oldest form of the express, with external hammers you cock by hand and can see at a glance. Built in Eibar in calibers from 8×57 JRS to .600 Nitro Express.

About the Model C
Many professional hunters still prefer hammers on a dangerous-game rifle. The rifle is carried uncocked and safe, the hammers are thumbed back as the shot comes, and anyone standing alongside can see whether it is ready to fire. There is nothing to forget and nothing hidden.
A double rifle is only as good as its regulation. Each pair of barrels is adjusted and test-fired in Eibar until both shoot together, so the second shot lands where the first did. Every rifle is then proofed at the Eibar Proof House.
The lock plates and action are covered in fine hand-engraved scroll. The stock is figured walnut with a pistol grip, a cheekpiece and a recoil pad; the forend is diamond-checkered.
